UK composer Joel Cadbury is at the forefront of contemporary sound. With his roots as a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist with his first band South, and through his collaborations with the hugely influential UNKLE, Joel has gone on to create iconic scores for Film, TV, drama, documentaries and ballet.
Working with world renowned directors including Jonathon Glazer and Michael Winterbottom, along with multiple commissioned works for the trailblazing choreographer Wayne McGregor CBE.
Joel has an innate talent for understanding and navigating differing aural landscapes; whether it’s the ‘Dickensian punk’ of the BBC family drama Dodger, the pounding electronics of the seminal British gangster flick Sexy Beast, or the experimental neo-classical world of the McGregor ballet Borderlands.
